Search and Rescue

Search and Rescue is an organization under the Sheriff's Department that assists with finding lost individuals and provides back up for traffic and crowd control on large County events. Volunteers make up the back bone of the Search and Rescue with the Sheriff's Department providing assistance through its deputies.

The Search and Rescue team is a group of individuals who seek to assist those who have become lost within Daggett County. Search and Rescue also provides assistance for major events in the area like the Spring Fling Fishing Derby and the fireworks shoots that occur twice a year.

Search and Rescue meetings are held the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Dutch John Fire Station.
