A Great Place to Live!

Daggett County SceneryWelcome to Daggett County:  "Gateway to the Flaming Gorge!"  The mountainous landscape of this remote county in the northeastern corner of Utah can be enjoyed by residents and visitors a like.

Daggett County is the home of the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area and the Flaming Gorge Scenic Byway, plus there are plenty of activities for outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds:  Boating, Camping, Fishing, Biking, Hiking, and Wildlife Viewing are a few of the activities residents and visitors enjoy in Daggett County.

The Uintah Mountains run east-west in our area instead of north-south like all the other Mountain ranges in the west.  We also have the pleasure of not having any stop lights within the county.

Enjoy the pictures and information on this web site, but better yet come visit us and enjoy it in person!
