Holly Days Festival and Town of Manila Christmas Tree Lighting
2007 Festival and Tree Lighting a success!
This year’s Holiday celebration was a big success! First of all the County would like to thank the Town of Manila for allowing us to be a part of their annual Christmas Tree Lighting celebration. We also want to thank those who participated in the Christmas Bazaar and the Lighting Ceremony at the Senior Center, with a special thanks to those who prepared the cookies and hot chocolate. Bryan and Jerilyn Smith and family also deserve a special note of thanks for providing wagon rides on such a cold night! Other parade participants included the Manila Fire Department, the Food Pantry, the Senior Van, and the Flaming Gorge Market! The Parade of Christmas Lights was a lot of fun!

Associated with the Town’s Annual Christmas Tree lighting were several contests. The Town and County would like to thank all those who took the time to decorate their homes and add to the festive spirit. There were many who decorated their homes, but didn’t register for the “Most Festive House Contest”. We also had quite a few entrants in this year's coloring contest.
