Western Gateway to Flaming Gorge
Manila, Utah is nestled along the banks of the Flaming Gorge Reservoir in the remote northeast corner of the State. State Highway 43 makes Manila the western gateway to the National Recreation Area for millions of yearly visitors.
Wildlife Abounds
Manila is less than two hundred miles from Salt Lake City but provides a different world for the visitor. The 91-mile long lake abounds with record-breaking fishing and the massive nearby mountains provide all the outdoor recreation anyone could handle. The woods are the home of deer, elk, and moose, while antelope and big horn sheep may be viewed in the area. The air is fresh and clean and the noises of the city are left far behind.
