Daggett County Election Information

Chief Election Officer
The County Clerk has the responsibility for running the Federal, State and County Elections effecting the County Residents. Municipal Elections are run by the Municipality unless contracted through another source.

2018 Elections
Several State and Local Elections will be held on November 6, 2018.  There are several proposals to amend the Utah Constitution that may or may not end up on the ballot.  If you are interested in participating as a candidate in any of the 2018 elections more information on fees and filing information can be found at  2018 Candidate Filing Information Sheet.

Candidates can file to participate in the elections at the County Courthouse starting March 9th and ending March 15th at 5:00 pm.  The following forms are available for those wishing to participate in Local School Board or County election:  Declaration of Candidacy  Qualifications For Candidate Filing Affidavit    Candidate Contact Information    Pledge of Fair Campaign Practices Form (Optional) .  Forms can be filled out in advance, but should not be signed until turned into the Clerk/Treasurer's office.
2017 Elections

The Town of Dutch John and the Town of Manila had just enough people sign up for the positions available so all positions were uncontested and both of the Municipal Elections were cancelled.

Daggett County is in the 1st Congressional District and is not eligible to vote in the 3rd Congressional District Race, so no elections will be held in Daggett County on November 7, 2017.
