The Clinic in Manila

Josie Wood, PA-C, grew up in Farmington, Utah. After earning her bachelor’s degree from Weber State University, she continued her education to become a physician assistant at the University of South Dakota, where she graduated with honors as a member of the Pi Alpha National Honor Society for Physician Assistants. Josie is an avid reader and loves to cook and create things. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog doing various outdoor activities, which include riding dirt bikes, hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting.

Josie is excited and looking forward to serving and getting to know the Manila community. From her clinical training in rural South Dakota, she discovered she likes the characteristics of rural healthcare and the relationships she can build with her patients. She loves working with patients of all ages and enjoys treating a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions.
