About Daggett County's Airports
Daggett County does not have any commercial airline service, but it is lucky to have two small airports. One airport can be found near Dutch John, Utah and the other is just outside of Manila, Utah. The lighting and AWOS project have been completed at the Manila Airport. The AWOS information can now be accessed on Frequency 119.250. It is hoped access by phone will be approved by the end of the year 2020. More information will be posted when available. Repairs and repaving at the Dutch John Airport will take place in the Spring of 2021. The runway is now 6000' long. Services at this time are extremely limited, but plans for the future include upgrades and increased services. Winds and the altitude can make landing and taking off a little tricky, so use caution.
The closest regional airports are in Vernal, Utah and Rock Springs, Wyoming, with international service available at the Salt Lake International Airport approximately 170 driving miles from Manila, Utah.
